Responsibilities - Act as the escalation point for Tier 2 payroll issues, managing complex case investigations and resolutions - Analyze payroll data, identify root-causes, and coordinate corrective actions across HR, Finance, and IT - Oversee the complete case lifecycle from intake through closure, maintaining detailed and compliant records - Produce regular reports and metrics on case volume, SLA compliance, and root-cause trends - Partner with internal stakeholders to develop process improvements and preventative payroll controls - Deliver training and share best practices with Tier 1 payroll staff Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or relevant experience - Minimum 3 years of payroll processing and case management experience; at least 1 year with Tier 2 or complex payroll cases - Proficiency with payroll systems (SAP ECP highly valued), advanced Excel/Power Query skills - Strong understanding of federal and state payroll tax regulations (FICA, IRS, state withholding) - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills - Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) - Expertise in SAP Employee Central - Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities - Customer service mindset and collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork - Continuous improvement orientation Benefits - Competitive compensation package - Professional development and training opportunities - Collaborative and inclusive work culture - Opportunities for career advancement within HR, Payroll, and Finance How to Apply Ready to advance your payroll career?
