Expediting patient referrals in a remote full-time capacity, the Referral Coordinator will manage administrative requirements, serve as a resource on insurance guidelines, and utilize independent decision-making to ensure efficient healthcare operations. Key responsibilities: Expedite administrative requirements and logistics for patient referrals Act as a resource regarding referrals and insurance plan guidelines Utilize independent decision-making and strong interpersonal skills in daily tasks Required qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent preferred Two (2) years of experience in a medical setting or insurance company Experience in managed care desired Familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding preferred
