Delivery Manager – Mission Viejo, CA Overview Oversee all new vehicle deliveries, lease‑returns, trade‑ins, and on‑site inventory at Lucid’s new Studio and Delivery location in Mission Viejo. Lead a team of Delivery Associates and Vehicle Operations Specialists to ensure seamless transactions and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Lead the field Delivery team to ensure smooth, accurate transactions and exceptional customer service. Coordinate transitions across all delivery stages—financial clearance, documentation handling, and delivery ceremonies—working with Field Sales, Lucid Financial Services, and logistics partners. Maintain the highest level of transaction accuracy before vehicle handover. Coach and develop the Delivery team through one‑on‑one coaching, training, group discussions, role‑playing, and other effective methods. Handle customer trade‑ins, titling paperwork, and transfer of non‑Lucid vehicles through third‑party processes. Assess trade‑in vehicle condition and confirm acceptance or return. Partner with Remarketing to conduct Pre‑Delivery Inspections on trade‑in vehicles and upgrades. Oversee inventory flow, forecasting, and ordering to maintain optimal vehicle availability. Ensure vehicle inventory quality, condition, and readiness. Identify and remove technical, operational, and organizational barriers; propose solutions and use Salesforce reporting and analytics. Manage customer escalations that arise during delivery. Monitor the delivery pipeline, pairing customers with Delivery Associates and ensuring prompt service. Analyze operational performance, share insights, and implement corrective actions for deviations. Provide support to delivery associates when capacity issues arise and assist with daily operations as needed. Execute Lucid’s marketing and visual presentation standards, ensuring a frictionless, brand‑aligned experience. Adapt problem‑solving techniques to diverse customer needs and collaborate with Lucid Financial Services and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, internal policies, and accurate transaction completion. Qualifications 4–8 years of leadership experience in the automotive, transportation, or logistics industry. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, sales, or a related field; high school diploma or GED required. Proven track record of leading sales or process‑focused teams to meet or exceed targets. Strong problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven, business‑owner mindset. Experience using CRM (Salesforce) to analyze reports and drive performance. History of making data‑driven decisions and holding teams accountable to KPIs. Talent for nurturing, developing, and leading customer‑oriented teams. Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, especially with sales and service teams. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours, particularly at month or quarter ends. Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year; drivers under 21 must have held a license for at least 3 years and complete Lucid training upon hire. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce. Capacity for physical tasks such as twisting, bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $90,000 – $115,000 with uncapped commission.
