Hematologist (Adult Sickle Cell) - Northwell Cancer Institute at Rego Park
Northwell Health Cancer Institute seeks a board eligible/board certified Hematologist with experience and practice focus in Adult Sickle Cell disease to join the Northwell Health Cancer Institute Rego Park in Queens, NY.
Key responsibilities include patient‑centered care of adults with sickle cell disease, providing comprehensive treatment plans, managing hydroxyurea and transfusion therapies, and overseeing stem cell transplantation and gene therapy options. The role also involves active participation in research, teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, and contributing to the division’s academic missions.
Requirements: MD or DO degree; board eligible or board certified in Hematology; experience in adult sickle cell disease; strong clinical, teaching, and research skills.
