Customer Service / Warehouse Worker

Summary: This position will be responsible for all functions of inventory handling. Responsibilities will also include maintenance of inventory, receipt, shipment of goods, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Accurately prepare orders by pulling material from stock. Participate in the shipping of company goods to various customers. Verify accuracy of shipments. Process paperwork and signatures of shipments. Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Pull orders via pick ticket and handle pick ticket process. Load and unload delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and preparing for transport. Participate in physical inventory for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying gains/losses. Clean warehouse for the purpose of safe and sanitary workplace. Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment. Utilize computer based inventory, tracking, shipping, and ordering systems. Serve as a backup driver for the delivery truck. Qualifications At least two years of inventory handling and experience. Ability to perform and understand basic math and written procedures. Excellent verbal communication skills. Basic computer literacy. Ability to speak both English & Spanish preferred. Ability to meet deadlines and schedules with little supervision. Forklift experience is a plus. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50 plus pounds on a regular basis. Warehouse experience is a plus. Flooring or tile industry experience is a plus. High School Diploma/GED.
