Position Overview

The Sales Administrator is responsible for providing essential support to the sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of sales activities within the organization. This role streamlines the sales process, supports sales efforts, and enhances customer satisfaction. The Sales Administrator also assists with branch operations as needed, including occasional product deliveries to customers, pulling customer orders alongside the warehouse team, and receiving and stocking incoming inventory. The position requires a dependable, detail-oriented individual comfortable moving between administrative and hands-on warehouse work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Support: Create customer sales reports and deal options, enter and manage automotive consignments, format customer inventories, and handle customer billing for painter technical support.
• New Customer Setup: Complete deal sheets for review, collect and verify required documentation including W-9s, credit applications, and resale certificates, and partner with Accounts Receivable on new deals.
• Pricing: Complete pricing for tools and equipment, prepare price quotes, ensure competitive pricing for new customers, and partner with the pricing team to establish customer pricing.
• Sales Meeting & Vendor Support: Arrange flights, lodging, and meals for business trips and sales meetings, create fliers for monthly specials, enter credit requests into the credit portal for all West Coast locations, order and bill equipment as needed, and work with vendor billing on customer setups.
• Operational Support: Make occasional product deliveries to customers, assist the warehouse with pulling customer orders, and assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.

Qualifications

The Sales Administrator requires a minimum of five years' experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Support, or similar role, along with successful completion of high school or a GED; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate brings excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and a customer-focused, problem-solving attitude grounded in kindness, humility, and a servant heart. This role calls for proficient knowledge of project management tools and Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Teams, Tasks, Planner, and SharePoint, as well as effective interpersonal skills and the tact to work well with both internal and external customers. The Sales Administrator must exercise sound judgment and initiative, establish and maintain effective relationships consistent with the Company's mission and philosophy, and present in a business-like manner appropriate to business needs.
