Shades Of Life Labs, Llc in Virginia Beach, VA is looking to add one direct support professional to our 12-person strong team. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, hard-working, and a self-starter.

The DSP will serve as the direct care worker with the primary responsibility and supervision of the individuals in their charge. The DSP will oversee physical care, help develop acceptable habits and attitudes, manage individual behavior, and help the individuals meet the goals and objectives of any service plan.

The DSP will escort individuals to and from training and community activities, teach them basic first aid, fire safety, and emergency skills, and observe them daily for behavioral changes, physical injuries, and cleanliness. The DSP will also perform required housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
