Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Rockingham, North Carolina Job Summary We are actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Rockingham, North Carolina. The successful candidate will deliver top-notch speech and language therapy services to students, helping them enhance their communication abilities and succeed academically. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills. Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with identified disorders. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain detailed records of student progress and regularly update parents and school staff. Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student goals and achievements. Keep abreast of current practices and advancements in speech-language pathology. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Professional Educator's License with a specialization in Speech-Language Pathology. Preferably experienced in a school setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Requirements Valid North Carolina SLP license. ASHA CCC-SLP certification. NCDPI Professional Educator's License in Speech-Language Pathology. Successful completion of a background check to work in North Carolina public schools.
