Part-Time Psychology InstructorThe Part-Time Psychology Instructor must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process. The candidate must also have the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed. The responsibilities for this position include teaching assigned courses, preparing and delivering lectures in a face-to-face and/or online environment, leading and moderating classroom discussions and contributing to the department's activities. Sponsorship is not available for this position.Deliver lectures, prepare course materials, and facilitate learning experiences for the students in the department. Stay current in the developments and advancements in the field of Psychology. Maintain accurate and timely records of students grades and attendance. Participate in departmental and university activities. Follow established expectations and protocols for the department.Master's Degree in Psychology or related discipline, or Master's Degree with 18 hours of Psychology courses at the graduate level. College Teaching Experience.PhD candidates with experience may be considered for upper division courses.Salary is based upon per credit hour rate depending upon degree.Cover letter. Resume. Experience working with a diverse student population, including first generation students.
