RN - Labor & Delivery

This is a seasonal travel RN position in Labor & Delivery. The position requires a strong focus on patient care and collaboration with a diverse team. The unit typically handles high-risk labor and C-sections. Patient ratios vary based on risk and the type of delivery. Common procedures include C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler monitoring. Candidates should possess compassion, a caring attitude, and the ability to work solutions-oriented. Self-scheduling is a feature that enhances staff satisfaction. The team embraces a collaborative nursing approach to support one another. There is a strong leadership team that provides support and can assist on the floor when needed. The unit currently features tenured staff with extensive experience in the field. Recent enhancements include the start of an OB Hospitalist program.
