Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Santa Ana,CA, US 6912534 4 days ago Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year Job Details --------- RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production safely and efficiently Perform routine inspections to identify potential equipment failure Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, sensors, switches, and other components Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications Support production changeovers and equipment adjustments when needed Complete scheduled maintenance activities and document completed work Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history Partner with production and engineering to identify recurring equipment issues Support root cause investigations and long term corrective actions Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area Follow established safety procedures and maintenance standards REQUIREMENTS Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience working with manufacturing equipment and production machinery Basic electrical troubleshooting experience Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems Ability to diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability Ability to work effectively with production, engineering, and maintenance teams NICE TO HAVES 2+ years experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment PLC troubleshooting experience Experience with industrial electrical systems Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and control systems Experience with conveyors, pumps, compressors, or similar equipment Welding or fabrication experience Experience with computerized maintenance management systems Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques Exposure to Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement Previous experience supporting equipment installation and commissioning A bit about us: Founded several decades ago, we are a successful and growing manufacturing organization recognized for exceptional quality, operational excellence, and strong customer relationships.
