Diesel Mechanic

Job Description ****DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY**** US Tech Force is looking for a rockstar Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join a De-Pere family-owned and operated utility contractor. Position requires diverse knowledge on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, electronics, rear ends, hydraulics; and the ability to diagnose, repair, or rebuild them. WAGE: $20.00 to $35/hour **$2.00/hour more with an unrestricted Class A CDL MECHANIC ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to all vehicle and equipment. Performing electronic, hydraulic, engine and/or brake repairs. Analyze vehicle and equipment maintenance data. Complete repair paperwork. Complete follow-up paperwork. Order parts when needed Perform all shop and yard housekeeping procedures Working on equipment such as excavators, backhoes, bore rigs, hydrovacs, trucks and trailers, utility cable reel trailers, and more MECHANIC QUALIFICATIONS: Diverse knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance. Must have experience in hydraulics, electronics, and brakes. Engine rebuilding knowledge is required. Must have an insurance acceptable driver’s license. Must have own tools. Must be able to operate equipment being repaired.
