Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a Mechanic for our client, a local family-owned construction company. Job Duties: Running diagnostic tests on Mixer Trucks.Analyzing diagnostic test results.Replacing damaged or broken componentsChecking vehicle lighting systems.Test driving vehicles to gauge performance.Performing preventative maintenance on Mixer Trucks.Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.Maintaining a parts inventory.Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop. Qualifications: Valid driver's license.Aptitude for mathematics and science.Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components.Good IT and diagnostic skills.Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools.Attention to detail.Good interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal communication skills.Good organizational skills. Education: · Will consider recent graduatesHigh school diploma.Experience in the field can be acceptable in lieu of above. Job Type : Full-time Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
