Adjunct/Part Time Lecturer; Computer Science We are seeking an adjunct or part‑time faculty member for the College of Computing & Informatics (Computer Science). This temporary position involves teaching a particular course or courses for a semester. No benefits will accrue. Minimum Experience / Education Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. The university prefers the highest earned degree, but also considers competence, effectiveness, and capacity, including, as appropriate, undergraduate and graduate degrees, related work experience, professional licensure and certifications, honors and awards, continuous documented excellence in teaching, or other demonstrated competencies and achievements that contribute to effective teaching and student learning outcomes. Responsibilities Develop, update, and deliver course syllabus, prepare lectures, projects, or other student assignments, meet all designated class periods, maintain regularly scheduled office hours, grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner, and submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations.
