Adjunct/Part Time Faculty; Educational Leadership Position Number: EPTF50 Division: Academic Affairs Department: College of Education (Col) Work Unit: Educational Leadership Employment Type: Temporary – Part‑time Hours per week: Varies Pay Rate: Pay rate varies Minimum Experience and Education Undergraduate instruction: Doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline. Graduate instruction: Earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree. Additional qualifications: Competence, effectiveness, and capacity in teaching, supported by undergraduate or graduate degrees, related work experience, professional licensure and certifications, honors and awards, and a documented track record of excellence in teaching and student learning outcomes. Duties and Responsibilities Develop or update course syllabus. Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments. Conduct all scheduled class periods and maintain consistent office hours. Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner. Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations.
