You help shape our member's entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In the member assist-cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, helping members with their purchases, and ensuring carts are ready and available. You will also assist our members with loading their vehicles and support a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you. Ensure items are dispensed when members arrive for pick-up and resolve member issues and concerns, including promoting the company’s products and services. Maintain safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for handling merchandise, and correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management. Provide member service by recognizing members, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, processing payments, using cash registers to assist members with transactions, locating and organizing merchandise, zoning designated areas, resolving member issues, promoting the company’s products, organizing and maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds, assisting members with transporting items, using cart retrieval equipment, and keeping the parking lot clean. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in daily operations. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional Compensation Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
