FWS -Music Department Office Assistant, Practice Room Monitor, Concert Usher Overview Position Type Part Time Category Student FWS Music Department Office Assistant, Practice Room Monitor This position is only open to current Pacific University Students FWS- Music Department Office Assistant, Practice Room Monitor, & Usher Location: Music Department, Taylor-Meade Length of employment: 8/31/26 – 5/4/26 (academic year) Wage rate: $16.80/hr Purpose of Position: Work-study student to monitor practice rooms and/or provide office support and usher events Job Duties and Responsibilities: Office Assistant: Running errands, checking and distributing mail, using the copier, creating notices, posting concert posters and keeping building notices/posters up to date. Will alsowork with faculty and staff. General office work and awareness of helping others in an office setting Must have good collaboration and communication skills. Good computer skills including using spreadsheets will be necessary. Reliability and problem solving skills are required. Usher: Assist with concert set-up, ticket taking, and seating for concerts. Tear down after concert. Monitor: Check people in and out and supervise practice annex. Oversee space and help instructors and students as needed. Maintain a clean and organized space.
