Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week (3x12s) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Provide care for post-critical (step-down) cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring, possible ventilator support, and observation
• Manage patients who may require specialty IV drips and more comprehensive care than general acute patients

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months
• Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years
• Each work history entry must include the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems are listed for one position, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
