Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week (3x12s) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
Provide care for post-critical (step-down) cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring, possible ventilator support, and observation
Manage patients who may require specialty IV drips and more comprehensive care than general acute patients
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months
Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years
Each work history entry must include the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems are listed for one position, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Acute care facility experience
