Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening practices, and other security-related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
