Phlebotomist

Job Description This part‑time plasma donor screener role requires a performer with one of the following certifications: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 License (CPT1), CPT2, California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS), or California Medical Laboratory Technician License (MLT). The role includes testing and collecting plasma to provide life‑changing medicines for patients. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and maintain a safe environment for donors and staff. Screen new and repeat donors, record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of customer or patient‑facing experience. Current license or certification in the state where duties will be performed: CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift up to 5lb; occasional lifting up to 32lb, rarely 50lb. Fine‑motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Experience in a health‑care or phlebotomy setting desirable. Benefits and Compensation Location: USA – CA – Temecula.
