Creative Marketing Assistant

Job Description Title: Creative Marketing Assistant Location: Corporate Office Reports To: Marketing Manager Details: Salary Exempt, Non-Supervisory Job Summary This position is part of a team that assists with marketing programs and projects, primarily focusing on the creation of various marketing graphics and creative materials to be used online and in printed form. Materials include but are not limited to social media content, flyers, handouts, and other forms of visual content. This position is also responsible for scheduling social media posts, monitoring and addressing social media communications, and working cross-departmentally for creative purposes. Other duties to be assigned as needed. Duties/Responsibilities Coordinate and track marketing programs and promotions Prepare creative marketing materials (graphic and written) including social media content, fliers, and logos Coordinate between offices and corporate; as well as with cooperating staff to compile data for marketing and social media events Utilize social media scheduling software for content posting and communication ensuring all deadlines are met Assist with the creation and distribution of internal marketing communications and print materials Monitor email account and social media channels and follow up as applicable Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Superior verbal and written communication skills Extremely resourceful and adaptable Anticipate potential issues and problem solve preemptively Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data Excellent interpersonal skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Knowledge of social media outlets and their functionalities Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud and similar software Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and other related software Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and verifiable auto insurance coverage Education and Experience Associate's degree or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in related roles preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
