About The Job The Center for Pediatric Obesity Medicine (CPOM) seeks a full-time Recruitment Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for a high-volume adolescent participant clinical trial. This role will lead enrollment of approximately 1,200 adolescent participants over 2.5 years. The position is new, in-person/hybrid, and reports to the Associate Director with oversight from the study Principal Investigator, Medical Safety Officer, and Co-Investigators. Key Responsibilities Strategic Outreach (40%) Develop and oversee the recruitment strategy utilizing social media, search engine optimization, and targeted digital outreach. Manage the development and continuous optimization of the study website and social media content to maintain high participant engagement. Build community partnerships locally and nationally. Serve as primary liaison to the Department of Pediatrics and Medical School Communications teams to align branding and media presence with University standards. Clinical Intake and Screening Operations (30%) Oversee daily recruitment operations, triage inquiries, screen preliminary eligibility, and coordinate participant enrollment. Develop and maintain Tele‑Screening SOPs, ensuring adherence through internal audits. Performance Analytics (20%) Develop and maintain tracking systems for high-level analytics. Proactively report recruitment metrics to troubleshoot bottlenecks and create mitigation strategies. Implement and oversee technology and workflows for managing participant referrals. Leadership and Governance (10%) Hire, onboard, and train Recruitment Specialist. Contribute to study advisory boards on engagement trends and enrollment barriers. Author and maintain recruitment and outreach sections of the Manual of Operating Procedures. Qualifications All required qualifications must be documented on application materials. BA/BS degree plus at least four years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree plus at least two years, or equivalent education and experience totaling at least eight years. Excellent interpersonal, written, and digital communication skills. Experience developing promotional materials. Demonstrated ability to create, adapt, and analyze social media campaigns. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with multitasking, prioritization, proofreading, and attention to detail. Professional marketing/communications experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with the targeted population of adolescents and their caregivers. Experience with REDCap data management. Experience managing campaigns with defined goals and measurable outcomes. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $63,000 - $85,000 per year; based on education, qualifications, and experience.
