Position Overview

We are seeking Training Officers to develop and deliver training on C-FIRST

The Training Officer will deliver training across various C-FIRST application modules and role-specific tasks, develop training materials, provide technical assistance, and collaborate with subject matter experts and the training team to ensure consistent and effective training delivery.

• Deliver C-FIRST training to DCS employees both in-person and virtually.
• Train staff on C-FIRST application modules and tasks based on different user roles.
• Develop training materials for specialized C-FIRST tasks.
• Generate and maintain data within the C-FIRST training sandbox for training purposes.
• Collaborate with DCS and project subject matter experts to enhance training content and delivery.
• Provide web-based technical assistance to staff to support system learning.
• Use Microsoft Teams and other virtual training platforms to conduct training sessions.
• Work with training team members and program leadership to maintain consistency and quality across training materials and delivery.
• Travel within Tennessee may be required for in-person training sessions.
• Work effectively in both independent and collaborative environments.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in:
  • Training delivery
  • Adult education
  • Staff development
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and other virtual training tools.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving training environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and program leadership.

• Experience delivering training in a government or human services environment .
• Experience training users on computer systems or software applications .
• Experience developing training materials and role-based learning content.
• Experience providing virtual/web-based technical assistance.

• Hybrid work environment.
• Position can be based in Memphis, Nashville, or Knoxville, Tennessee .
• Travel may be required throughout Tennessee for in-person training.
• Training will be delivered through both in-person and virtual formats .
