To support product, privacy, and regulatory initiatives, the full-time Senior Counsel will provide actionable legal advice to product, engineering, and marketing teams while navigating global regulations and advocating for user safety and free expression in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Advise on the implementation of regulations and industry standards related to content safety, consumer protection, and data security Provide product counseling for a diverse range of web-related products, ensuring a customer-centric approach Track upcoming regulations and represent the company before regulators while developing policies for user safety and compliance Required qualifications JD from a US accredited law school with 5+ years of relevant experience (or an EU-based attorney) Familiarity with industries and regulatory requirements relevant to web hosting, social media, and digital advertising Ability to work independently in an asynchronous environment and adapt to new areas like litigation or IP Comfort in navigating complex legal issues and providing recommendations with limited information
