Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room position with ortho trauma, neuro, and robotics case experience.

Details

• Operating Room unit handling ortho trauma, extensive neuro, and robotics cases across multiple specialties
• Radical neck ENT case experience required
• 5/8 shift schedule from 0630-1500
• On-call requirements apply
• Holiday coverage required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• BLS certification from the AHA
• License required if applicable
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start for all licensed professionals
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Assist surgeons with pre-operative setup of sterile equipment and patient preparation
• Provide intra-operative support including passing instruments and assisting with tissue retraction
• Perform post-operative duties such as applying dressings and preparing specimens
• Maintain sterile field throughout procedures and follow standard precautions with appropriate PPE
• Work independently with critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Accepts local candidates at a reduced rate per facility radius rule
