Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students near Newark, NJ. This full-time position is ideal for a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is passionate about making a difference in students’ communication outcomes. With hours from 8:15AM–3:15PM, you’ll enjoy a consistent schedule, working 35 hours per week through June 25, 2027, supporting an elementary caseload at a vibrant school site.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active NJ SLP license is required
• Proven experience providing speech therapy in school settings
• Comfortable navigating district protocols and communicating clearly with staff
• Must be able to supply your own testing materials for assessments and evaluations
• Committed to supporting a caseload in need and able to complete required testing and documentation
• CF and SLPA candidates cannot be considered due to limited supervision
• Reliable transportation needed for a manageable commute
• Onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to elementary students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and progress reporting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student success
• Maintain detailed records in accordance with district and legal standards
• Communicate effectively with administrators, teachers, and families
