Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care for adult patients on a Med/Surg unit, including post-surgical and medical-surgical cases
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, manage IV infusions and IV pumps, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update care plans, and document in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (surgeons, case management, rehabilitation, ancillary staff) to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions
- Float to other units as needed; maintain safety, infection control, and patient-centered care throughout assignments
- Support post-operative care for common diagnoses such as abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery patients

Requirements
- Active New York RN license; Nursys license verification required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience; travel experience required
- EPIC EMR experience
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
