Installer Service Specialist

The Installer Service Specialist is an experienced and technical parts specialist who services the needs of professional customers through the store’s installer counter. This position will oversee and direct the daily activity of the delivery specialist to ensure customers receive accurate and timely order deliveries. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Work with installers and professional customers to develop sales relationships. Quickly and accurately take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, pick and stage parts for delivery, and route delivery specialists to ensure timely receipt of orders. Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards. Complete vehicle inspections on time and enter daily mileages into delivery fleet management devices. Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers. Verify all product and merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store. Process new core and warranty returns, pick them up, and credit them promptly. Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and ensure all returns are correctly tagged and labeled. Assist on the front counter and, as needed, on the retail counter. Perform backroom duties such as auto-load, returns, and stock management. Assist with customer labor claims, ensuring they are processed quickly and efficiently. Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong background in mechanics. Hands‑on knowledge of automotive repairs. ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
