Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Silver Spring, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The role requires collaboration with a healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). No minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery units, certification in Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves direct patient care in a labor and delivery unit, including monitoring fetal and maternal status, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum support. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, following established SOPs and clinical protocols.
