Lincoln, Nebraska | Full-time | Onsite | Confidential search

Lead the projects. Shape the process. Build a career that lasts. If you are already delivering commercial construction projects successfully but want more influence, stronger relationships and a company that invests in your future, this opportunity deserves a closer look.

Why this opportunity stands apart

A genuine seat at the table: work closely with leadership, contribute ideas and see decisions turn into action.

The chance to own outcomes and strengthen client relationships—not just administer schedules.

A close-knit, family-oriented workplace known for investing significantly in its people and helping them grow.

An established business where long-serving team members demonstrate that people can build lasting careers.

Broader exposure, professional development and a meaningful opportunity to help shape what comes next.

The opportunity

An established Lincoln-area commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager who takes full ownership of commercial building projects and is equally comfortable collaborating on estimates and scopes. Expect approximately 75–80% project management and 20–25% estimating involvement. You will have the opportunity to help shape execution, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the next stage of the company's growth.

What you will own

Own commercial building projects from planning and buyout through construction, closeout and lasting client relationships.

Lead schedules, budgets, costs, subcontractors, trade coordination, quality and accountability across the full project.

Drive execution—not simply monitor milestones—and proactively solve problems before they become client problems.

Partner in estimating: review estimates, assemble scopes, solicit and compare subcontractor bids, and connect preconstruction decisions to field delivery.

Build trust with clients and trade partners, including thoughtful follow-through after project completion.

Bring practical ideas to strengthen processes and help a growing business operate even better.

What makes you a strong fit

At least 4–5 years of direct commercial building project management for a general contractor, with personal responsibility for the complete project across multiple trades.

Approximately 4–5 years of meaningful involvement in commercial estimating; you need not have been the lead estimator, but must understand scopes, pricing and bid processes.

Experience with commercial buildings such as manufacturing, multi-use facilities, metal buildings or pre-engineered metal buildings is especially relevant.

Strong ownership, follow-through, judgment, communication and client-relationship skills.

Able to work onsite in Lincoln, Nebraska; this is not a remote or hybrid role.
