P-Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and provide services to our geriatric patients. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in older adults. This is a full-time position with a salary range of 41-48 per hour and a 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities in geriatric patients Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication and swallowing skills Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in geriatric speech therapy Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines Adhere to ethical and professional standards as set by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) Qualifications Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience working with geriatric patients Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to work a weekend rotation as needed CPR certification We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and advancement.
