Speech Therapy - Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working MondayFriday from 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, averaging 30 hours per week with occasional weekend rotation. The SLP provides speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy services for residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). The role focuses on helping patients recovering from illness or injury regain communication abilities and safe swallowing function while improving overall quality of life.
Requirements: Candidates must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license and have completed a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Certification through ASHA (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is highly preferred. Strong documentation skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams are required.
