This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals interested in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Microbiology, or related fields. You'll gain hands-on experience in quality assurance, food safety, analytical testing, GMP compliance, and production support while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Food Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring food products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Food Safety teams to perform testing, inspections, audits, and documentation activities that directly impact the quality of products reaching customers.

This role offers valuable experience in HACCP, GMPs, food safety programs, laboratory testing, and manufacturing operations, making it an excellent stepping stone for long-term growth within the food, beverage, and consumer products industries.

• Perform in-process analytical testing to ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Evaluate product characteristics including viscosity, color, soluble solids, and other quality parameters.
• Conduct organoleptic inspections, including visual, sensory, and appearance evaluations.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Support daily food safety and quality initiatives across manufacturing operations.

• Audit production and packaging lines to verify compliance with HACCP, GMP, and company quality standards.
• Inspect product weights, package seals, coding, labeling, temperatures, and other critical control points.
• Verify that all packaging materials and labels meet approved specifications.
• Support corrective actions by identifying, documenting, and reporting quality concerns.

• Perform environmental monitoring and equipment swabbing as required.
• Assist with raw material inspections and validation activities.
• Verify supplier documentation including Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Maintain accurate and detailed quality records and daily documentation.
• Assist with quality investigations and data collection activities.

• Work closely with Production, Operations, Food Safety, and Quality teams.
• Communicate findings and quality concerns effectively to supervisors and management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and food safety.

• 0-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, laboratory testing, food manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Internship, co-op, academic research, or laboratory experience is highly valued.
• Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• 2nd Shift
• Monday through Friday
• 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Rotating Saturdays as needed

• Excellent entry point into the food manufacturing and food science industries.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brockton, MA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
