Realistic year 1 target compensation starting at $50,000 at plan. Compensation is based on salary, commission & bonuses. Responsibilities for the Major Account Representative: Locate and develop new business opportunities within a territory for each of the company's product segments Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis and oversee all sales activity within the assigned territory Report on all sales activity, via CRM and manage business through that technical platform Frequent communication with inside support Manage workload and respond to customers in a timely manner, including follow-up contact for potential leads Obtain a broad understanding of product segments and their related functional capacities Make outbound telemarketing & cold calls to prospective & current customers Achieve sales targets and contribute to team goals Cold call on businesses to initiate sales conversations Identify and target potential business clients Build and maintain relationships with clients Present and demonstrate products/services Negotiate and close sales deals Keep accurate records of sales activities and results Stay current with industry trends and market conditions Requirements for the Major Account Representative: Possess a college degree or 3-5 years of B2B sales experience Competitive, positive attitude Ability to negotiate, basic contract negotiation, basic computer skills Present a professional image with business acumen Strong ability to self-initiate tasks and set goals Valid driver's license Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle rejection and persist in sales efforts Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven sales experience in a B2B setting Strong negotiation skills Demands for the Major Account Representative: Full-time position, salary plus commission. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In-person meetings and prospecting within a defined geography or book of business in the Lima Market and surrounding areas required daily Excellent organizational and time management skills to maximize effectiveness (This is not a remote position) Here's what we offer!
