Job Description Job Description Mid-Level Trademark, Copyright & Media Associate Attorney (NY or CA) Location: New York, NY or California (Los Angeles - Century City, Palo Alto, San Diego, or San Francisco) – Hybrid Salary Range: $310,000 – $390,000 per year Experience Level: 4–6 years Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join a leading Am Law 100 firm with a nationally recognized Intellectual Property practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with strong litigation and counseling experience in trademark and copyright matters, along with demonstrated trial experience. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in trademark and copyright litigation matters in federal courts and before the USPTO. Advise on IP strategy, brand protection, copyright enforcement, and media law issues. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and manage all stages of litigation. Collaborate with a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Qualifications: JD from a nationally recognized law school. 4–6 years of relevant experience at a reputable law firm; Am Law 100 experience strongly preferred. Licensed to practice in New York or California. Strong writing and analytical skills with excellent business judgment. Trial and courtroom experience is required. Strong client service orientation and collaborative approach. Additional Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Work Environment: Hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence.
