Registered Nurse - Day Surgery

Location: Dallas, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10 shifts - 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Day Surgery and Preoperative Assessment Testing (PAT). The ideal candidate will possess experience with Meditech and demonstrate a skill set that includes IV starts and pediatric care. This role requires a professional who is flexible, friendly, and a team player.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive preoperative care to adult and pediatric patients.
Perform IV starts and monitoring in alignment with unit standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in surgical settings.
Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
Assist patients through the Preoperative and Postoperative experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience with Meditech and IV starts.
Preferred experience in PreAdmit Testing and pediatric care.
