About the Role:

The Senior Total Rewards Partner serves as a trusted advisor responsible for supporting Aspirion's Total Rewards administration across compensation, benefits, leave of absence, and workers' compensation. This role partners closely with People Partners, leaders, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors to administer and continuously improve programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

As a trusted subject matter expert, the Senior Total Rewards Partner leverages market data, workforce analytics, and industry best practices to inform recommendations, enhance teammate experiences, support business growth, and drive continuous improvement across Total Rewards programs. This role plays a key part in benefits, compensation and leave administration.

 

What you will do:

Benefits Administration  

• Manage full lifecycle of benefits administration for our health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life, disability, wellness, and other benefit programs in collaboration with carriers, vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders. 
• Serve as a subject matter expert for all benefits, wellness and 401(k) programs. 
• Partner with benefit carriers and vendors to resolve eligibility, claim, and data issues. 
• Ensure accurate and timely benefits administration, invoice reconciliations, and HRIS data integrity. 
• Support benefits strategy initiatives, wellness program, open enrollment, vendor implementations, and benefits compliance activities. 
• Provide exceptional customer service in a timely and professional matter while serving as the subject matter expert for all inquiries related to benefits, wellness and 401(K) programs. 
• Develop teammate communications to improve benefit program understanding and utilization. 
• Support ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, nondiscrimination testing, audits, and other benefits compliance requirements. 

Leave of Absence, Accommodations & Worker’s Compensation Administration  

• Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, disability, parental leave, and applicable state leave programs. 
• Coordinate leave administration with the third-party administrator, payroll, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless process. 
• Manage accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws. 
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claim administration and facilitate communication among teammates, managers, carriers, and vendors. 
• Serve as a subject matter expert to teammates, leaders, and the People Team on leave, accommodation, and workers’ compensation programs.  

Compensation Administration  

• Support administration of compensation programs including market pricing, job evaluations, annual compensation planning, and incentive programs. 
• Own the participation in compensation surveys. 
• Support salary structure administration and compensation governance. 

Other Total Rewards Support  

• Serve as a functional expert for Paylocity Benefits & Compensation modules, Cocoon leave management system, Payscale and other related Total Rewards systems. 
• Operates with significant independence while partnering closely with Total Rewards leadership on strategic initiatives. 
• Partner with internal stakeholders to implement total rewards initiatives, improve processes, identify automation opportunities, enhance the teammate experience, and improve efficiency and scalability. 
• Support the evaluation of emerging technologies, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve Total Rewards operations and teammate experience. 

Requirements:

 

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field. 
• 5-8 years of progressive Total Rewards experience supporting benefits, 401(k), leave administration, ADA accommodations, compensation, and compliance. 
• Strong understanding of benefits and leave programs and employment regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, PFL, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA), and applicable state laws. 
• Proven experience administering high-volume, leave and accommodation programs. 
• Knowledge of compensation principles including market pricing, salary structures, job evaluation, and annual compensation planning. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to confidently communicate complex benefits and leave concepts across all levels within the organization.  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and lookups. 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism. 
• Travel required: Minimal. 

What we would like to see:  

• CEBS, CCP, or similar professional certification. 
• Experience supporting multi-state organizations with complex leave and compliance requirements. 
• Experience with administration and compliance of self-insured health plans.  
• Experience supporting annual compensation review cycles and salary structure administration. 
• Experience with Paylocity, Cocoon, Payscale, or similar compensation, benefits and leave administration platforms. 
• Experience leading HR process improvement projects
