Learn more at $75K to $85K Other Forms of Compensation: $1,000.00 Yearly Supervisor Bonus PotentialThe Supervisor leads all aspects of and coordinates activities of the maintenance department working under the direction of the Director and or Assistant Director. Incumbent is guided by thorough knowledge of plant operations and maintenance methods, techniques, procedures, principles of engineering, applicable governmental codes and regulations, and operation and use of departmental equipment and supplies; knowledge of principles of management, and procedures and policies of the department and facility. This is a first shift 7am to 4pm M-F shift with occasional weekends as needed.Responsibilities:Plans, organizes and controls activities of maintenance department to keep staff engaged in maintaining, repairing, and renovating facilitiesMaintains flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of assigned workload and adherence to standards of quality controlMaintains adequate inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies and initiates requisitions as neededIn the absence of the Director and Assistant Director, assumes full responsibilities of the department, shares weekend duties with the other managers in the departmentMonitors and inspects employee work performance to assure performance standards are maintained through use of computer reportsOrients and trains new employees and provides continuing guidance and on-the-job training to all assigned personnelPrepares performance evaluations for assigned personnelMonitors and coordinates a variety of preventative maintenance and building and property repair and improvement projects performed by vendors and contractors, inspects completed work and approves requests for payment regarding sameServes as a member of the facility's fire response teamQualifications:Previous supervisory experience, preferably in healthcareMust be knowledgeable in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systemsPrevious experience with computerized work order system highly preferredAbility to meet the needs of the facility and make sound decisions, sometimes under stressExcellent interpersonal skills both written and verbalAssociate degree preferredProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookAssociates at Crothall are offered many fantastic benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan, flexible time off, holiday time off, associate shopping program, health and wellness programs, discount marketplace, identity theft protection, pet insurance, commuter benefits, employee assistance program, flexible spending accounts, paid parental leave, and personal leave.Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
