Quality Engineer

Introduction

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering and be capable of implementing corrective actions to resolve quality issues. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring quality standards are met throughout our production processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of manufacturing or quality experience
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
• Ability to lead cross-functional groups to resolve concerns
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• High level of analytical and statistical skills
• Ability to positively influence change
• Ability to handle complex issues and multi-tasking
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in using Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Prior work experience in the industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing Quality experience
• Black Belt or Green Belt Certification
• Knowledge of Assembly, Machining, and Gear processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues
• Manage and direct statistical process control activities
• Identify sources of variation within a production environment
• Establish tolerance limits and facilitate appropriate corrective actions
• Support expedited concern resolution with cross-functional teams
• Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility
