Production Assistant / Printing Machine Operator

Location: Bethel, CT
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Four 10-Hour Shifts (Monday-Thursday)
Bonus: Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend Every Week!

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assistant / Printing Machine Operator to join our production team in Bethel, CT. In this role, you will assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing equipment used for custom print jobs. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, quality-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor printing machines and production equipment
Set up materials and prepare machines for custom print jobs
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues
Load and unload materials as needed
Follow work orders and customer specifications accurately
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Assist team members with production goals and deadlines

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, production, printing, or machine operation experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working around production machinery in a manufacturing environment
