Technician 1

Job Summary Technician 1 – Provides preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment such as aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines (generators, HVAC, pumps, oil & gas). Working in a safety‑focused environment with the goal to reduce downtime. Key Responsibilities Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models, and equipment. Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management. Work with an incredible team of people in a safety‑focused environment. Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment. Ensure safety and effectiveness to avoid downtime. Other similar duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired. 1‑3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment or heavy construction equipment. Experience with specialty lines (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment) preferred. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems fundamentals. Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. May need to provide tools of trade. Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location. Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching; lifting 50 lbs or more; work indoors/outdoors as required.
