Production Technician For MaskingThe Production Technician for Masking performs the tasks related to the masking, unmasking and packaging of parts for a variety of organizational manufacturing needs in a safe and organized manner.Key Accountabilities | Results Expected To AchieveMeet or exceed organizational goals for safety, quality, cost and deliveryMask, un-mask, and package parts throughout the anodize process using process card instructionsMeet or exceed expectations regarding the organization's attendance policyKey Responsibilities | Tasks You Do To Achieve The AccountabilitiesEnsures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceededFollow leadership direction regarding work prioritiesRead and understand process cards and POsHighlight process cards and purchase orders in accordance with department procedureEnter all production and non-production time in Arrow Flow promptlyMask and un-mask customer parts in accordance with established process cardFollow instructions on process card and/or PO to carefully package customer partsUnderstand and meet production rate requirementsComplete and initial processing steps on job trackersAssist and mentor fellow team members in trainingServe as a role model for accountability and positivityMaintain quality as a priority, notify leadership immediately with any quality concernsNotify manager of immediate issues that need to be addressedMaintain a clean and organized work environmentOther duties as assignedMust be able to work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through FridayQualities For SuccessDemonstrates Arrow Finishing Core ValuesHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMust be a Citizen of the United States of America or have a current Green CardGeneral knowledge of anodize terminologyStrong attention to detail to ensure safety and qualityGeneral computer skills and the ability to work with basic computer programsAbility to balance workload effectively and stay organizedAbility to read and understand processes, procedures, and instructionsAbility to work and collaborate with others respectfully and professionallyAbility to be dependable and punctual, work overtime as neededPhysical RequirementsLift up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 30 lbs. on occasionAbility to continuously use hands and arms requiring using fine dexterity and precisionStanding, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requiresWork EnvironmentThis position location is on the production floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk.
