Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct Support ProfessionalThe Direct Support Professional ensure individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities receive continuous active treatment in accordance with their Individual Support Plans (ISPs). They are also responsible for carrying out structured behavior management programming to people with disabilities receiving residential and day program services. Additionally, a DSP will assure the well-being of program participants through assisting towards achieving personal goals, assuring the environment is clean and free from safety hazards, and document any incidents that may arise.
