Consultant - Managing Consultant - Senior Manager - Contextual Systems Engineering Locations: Atlanta | New York City | Chicago | Seattle | San Francisco A leading transformation consultancy is hiring Contextual Systems Engineers to help build AIready data and knowledge foundations for enterprise clients. This is a handson consulting role , focused on semantic layers, analytics engineering, and contextual data platforms that enable AI systems to operate effectively at scale. What you'll do
- Design and implement semantic layers (metrics, dimensions, business models)
- Build and maintain data pipelines feeding analytics and AI systems
- Contribute to knowledge graph and context platform design
- Document data models, definitions, and context contracts
- Work closely with consultants, architects, and client teams
- 3-12 years experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data architecture
- Strong SQL and experience building data pipelines
- Experience with dbt, LookML, or similar semantic/metrics layers
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)
- Consulting or clientfacing experience preferred
