Job Details Allied Health Professional // Radiology Technologist Weekly stipend: $2,058 Hourly: $15 - $17 Weekly base pay: $600.0 - $680 Onsite contract, starts 7/06/2026, duration 13 weeks Location: Hazel Crest, IL (17800 Kedzie Ave, 30 min from Chicago, 231 beds, teaching hospital) Shift Information Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Mids) Days: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Nights: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM 8‑hour shifts only Weekend rotation: Every other weekend On‑call: Not required for travelers, but call available if desired Holiday expectations: Not required Schedule cycle: 4 weeks at a time, receive 1‑2 weeks prior Orientation 1 week of orientation (additional time if required) Patient Types & Ratios Very heavy ER, trauma, inpatient, outpatient, adults, a few pediatric, general, ICU 20‑30 patients per tech per day 20‑30 patients per tech per day – walk‑ins only (no appointments) Patient ratio: 1:1 Required Certifications & Licenses BLS, ARRT, IEMA license (no limited licenses) General X‑rays – chest, long bones, etc. Must have acute care experience; mobile only not accepted Portables: comfortable Fluoro experience: plus, not required; no night‑shift fluoroscopy cases OR experience: plus, not required C‑arm experience: not required If interviewing for overnight shift: must be comfortable as sole tech Support on Unit Lead Tech available on some shifts Radiologic Technologist (RT) 24/7 Hospitalist 24/7 Radiologists available during the day (service reads after 10 pm) Equipment & Technology General X‑ray, ER, and portables: Client Fluoro: Shimadzu Client PACS
