Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a busy acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive critical care to adult ICU patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to Med-Surg/Telemetry units as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Cerner.

Requirements

• Active New York RN License.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience .
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU/CCU experience .
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• EPIC experience required (must be clearly listed on the resume/profile).
• Must be willing to float to Med-Surg/Telemetry when needed.
• Must have reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
