Lead Daycare Teacher

The Role As a Lead Daycare Teacher, you will oversee the daily activities and development of children in our care. You will create lesson plans, manage classroom dynamics, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children. Your leadership will help foster a love for learning and promote social and emotional growth among our students. What You'll Do Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in the classroom. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and needs. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback and support as needed. Organize and participate in activities that promote physical, social, and emotional growth. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. What We're Looking For Experience working with young children in an educational or daycare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. Nice to Have Early Childhood Education certification or equivalent experience. Experience with special needs children or diverse populations. Familiarity with early childhood education standards and regulations. Bilingual abilities are a plus. This is a full-time position with a focus on creating a positive learning environment.
