Aventura at Oakwood Assisted Living is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and dependable Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to join our team. REQUIREMENTS

• Active Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification

• Passion for providing high-quality, person-centered care

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, healthcare, or a related field

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide privacy and dignity for residents during medication administration

• Review medication orders and identify changes or discontinued orders

• Assist residents with self-administration of medications within the scope of practice

• Remain with residents until medications are consumed and document appropriately

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of medication carts

• Check medication carts daily for upcoming expiration dates and report concerns to the supervising nurse

• Maintain accurate narcotic logs and verify medication counts with the oncoming Medication Technician

• Immediately notify the supervising nurse of any adverse medication reactions

• Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition

• Communicate resident requests, concerns, and problems to the appropriate personnel

• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable medication administration guidelines
