If you are an inspiring supervisor dedicated to advancing team-based care, we want YOU on our team! We’re looking for a dynamic, visionary Behavioral Health Supervisor to partner with Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) and Student Health Center leadership. In this role, you won't just manage, you will innovate, expand, and elevate behavioral health services across nine Student Health Centers in collaboration with five incredible local school districts (David Douglas, Parkrose, Centennial, Reynolds, and Portland Public Schools). Primary responsibilities include: Staff Supervision & Performance Management: Directs, coaches, and evaluates a multicultural clinical team (including Clinical Services Specialists), which involves managing schedules, directly observing client interactions, reviewing documentation, and delivering performance feedback or disciplinary action. Operational Oversight & Quality Assurance: Collaborates with leadership to optimize workflows, ensure the delivery of evidence-based interventions, maintain strict compliance with health guidelines and licensing rules, and continually evaluate operations to implement procedural improvements. Direct Patient Care & Case Management: Delivers bio-psycho-social assessments, evidence-based behavioral health interventions, and case management to patients aged 5–18 with medical conditions, including providing unscheduled consultations, participating in group appointments, and helping families connect with community care partners. Clinical Consultation & Team Education: Partners closely with the primary care team to provide expert consultation on the intersection of medical and behavioral health, offering timely, succinct feedback and treatment recommendations while teaching team members on clinical topics as needed. Staff Development & Competency Management: Mentors and supports a diverse team by identifying training needs, coordinating professional development and student placements, ensuring staff competency through orientation and credentialing, and providing technical or clinical subject matter expertise. Inclusive Leadership & Team Dynamics: Fosters a productive, inclusive, and equitable learning environment by actively managing interpersonal dynamics, addressing staff issues timely, and building a diverse workforce that reflects the community served. Administrative Oversight & Operations: Manages daily administrative functions, including preparing agendas, conducting staff meetings, maintaining time and attendance records, drafting official documentation, and overseeing clinical and health education materials. Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*: Master’s degree from an accredited program recognized by Oregon behavioral health licensure boards (LPC, LCSW, or PsyD). 2 years of experience in healthcare operations management, including supervision, program development, and quality improvement. One of the following: Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon; OR Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Oregon; OR Licensed as a Professional Counselor by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. Other: Must have a valid drivers license upon hire. The ability to pass a background check which includes being fingerprinted with the Portland Public Schools. Preferred Qualifications/ Transferable Skills*: You do not need to have the following preferred qualifications/ transferable skills to qualify. However, keep in mind we may consider some or all of the following when identifying the most qualified candidates. Please clearly explain on your application how you meet any of the following preferred qualifications/transferable skills. 1-2 years experience working with adolescents who have a mental health diagnosis. Experience working with in primary care or health care setting Experience in program development or management such as effective leadership and team management/ supervision Experience in an FQHC Environment Experience with School Based programs Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration *Transferable skills: Your transferable skills are any skills you have gained through education, work experience (including the military) or life experience that are relevant for this position.
